- My name is Kat Graef and I am a student at Mount Boucherie Secondary School in Kelowna, BC. I was inspired to write The Boy Who Was A Knot one morning while eating breakfast and listening to music. In the music, there was a Moog. My brother suggested that I write a story about a boy who was a Moog and illustrate it. Well, not really knowing what a Moog was or how to draw one, the story slowly formed into one about a boy who became a knot by tying his shoelaces too fast, and ends up being able to form letters with his knotted arms. How it went from a Moog to a knot - don't ask me. I am open to any suggestions on how to improve this story and am interested in getting it published.
